Theater is the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being. Through your act present what you want to convey.

Satire Parody is a skit play competition in which contestants are required to depict a story or a theme with their play.

  • Type of event: Group
  • Team Size: 6-8

  • The Event may be conducted on an Open Stage or Outdoor Stage of approximate size 48ft x 36ft.Hence, Plan your act accordingly.
  • Skit can be in Hindi or English or even a combination of the two. Use of regional languages is allowed but must be reduced to a minimum.
  • The script can be original or an adaptation.
  • A maximum of 10 minutes shall be given including setup and clearance. Teams exceeding time limit shall be disqualified. Your time starts counting as soon as you step on the stage, even though for arranging props.
  • No props will be provided, however teams can use their own props.
  • External music is allowed. Carry them strictly in pen drive only.
  • The contestants are PROHIBITED to use vulgar words, acts and expressions within their presentation.
  • An individual can be a part of more than one team in this competition. However the organizers shall not be responsible if the team in which the individual is participating gets subsequent slot of performance.
  • Decisions of the judges and the organizers shall be final and binding to all teams.
  • The jury members/organizers reserves the right to stop any performance at any moment if they find the performance is not up to the level of the competition in the fest or not decent or unsuitable for the fest.

  • The Event may be conducted on an Open Stage or Outdoor Stage of approximate size 48ft x 36ft.Hence, Plan your act accordingly.
  • Duration of the Mime should between 4-5 minutes (Including setup time & a maximum of 1 minute for introduction to the subject of the mime).
  • Teams exceeding time limit shall be disqualified.
  • In case of use of any music track, carry your tracks in 2 pen drives (carrying tracks in mobile phones, laptops and any other electronic gadgets shall not be permitted).
  • Use of props is not allowed.
  • Any instance of vulgarity, or disturbing content of any order would lead to a forceful halt of performance and immediate disqualification.

In this competition, a contestant is expected to either mimic or do standup or even a combination of both. Standup comedy or comedy in general is the ultimate form of free speech as you get to poke holes in serious matters with your sense of humor. Leave that stressful daily routine for a while and come have a laugh with us. While, mimicry is for all those who are good in mimicking other, enacting other famous personalities and beat boxing.

This competition is for those individuals who are good at entertaining people through their delivery of jokes / satires, etc.

Street Play, popularly known as Nukkad Natak, is one of the most vibrant and impactful forms of theatrical expression. Unlike conventional theatre, street plays are performed in open spaces to engage and connect with the audience directly. They serve as a medium to raise awareness, spread social messages, and ignite change through creativity, dialogue, and performance.

  • Team size: 8–15 participants.
  • Time Limit: Minimum 8 minutes & maximum 15 minutes.
  • Topics should revolve around social relevance, youth concerns, cultural values, or national integration.
  • Content must not be obscene, offensive, or derogatory towards any caste, religion, community, or individual.
  • Hindi/English or regional languages are permitted. However, clarity of message must be ensured.
  • Teams must adapt to street theatre style (minimal props, use of chorus, slogans, and songs).
  • Only hand-held, portable props are allowed. No electrical or electronic instruments permitted.
  • Teams may use live music, clapping, drums, or dholak.
  • No usage of fire, water, smoke, or hazardous materials.
  • Vulgarity, indecency, or personal attacks will lead to disqualification.
  • Respect audience, judges, and fellow teams.
