This competition is open for all those who love debating on various agendas in front of a mass.

This competition is Bi-lingual and therefore a team comprising of two speakers may speak either in English or in Hindi or even one each: one in Hindi & the other in English.

  • Type of event: Duet

  • Each team will be given a maximum of 10 minutes to speak, 5 minutes to each speaker. A caution bell shall be rung at 4 minutes.
  • First speaker has to speak for the motion and the other against.
  • The topic will be announced at least 48 Hours before the commencement of the fest.
  • Speaker exceeding the permissible time limit of 5 minutes shall lead to the disqualification of the entire team.
  • Reading from paper/other resources such as mobile phone/ tabs etc. is not permissible any shall lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Use of profanity or the inciting of communal hatred will lead to instant disqualification.
  • The decision of the judges shall be final & binding.

This is a public speaking contest in which participants are expected to showcase their skills in delivering speeches with clarity, eloquence, and effective communication.

Mode of communication shall be strictly English.

There shall be twoRounds in this competition with elimination after first round. The overall result shall be announced based on the cumulative score of first & second round.

  • Round 1: Eliminator: Elocution (This round shall decide the top 7-10 finalist of the competition):

As the name suggests General quiz is usually and shall be beyond the horizon. However the major emphasis shall be on current affairs & happenings, general knowledge & things that you usually observe around yourself.

  • Type of event: Group

  • There will be two rounds in this competition:
  • Written Prelims (eliminator)
  • Mains (Finale)
  • This is a group event and there must be a minimum of two and a maximum of three members in each team in each of the rounds
  • Top 4 or 6 teams from the prelims shall qualify to the main round depending upon the scores in the prelims. In case of tie in the prelims, the qualifying team shall be decided on the basis of maximum correctly answered *marked questions in the prelims.
  • There shall be 15-25 questions in the prelims each carrying 1 mark. There shall be some specific 3-8 *marked questions. There shall be no negative marking for unanswered questions or incorrect answers. Decision in case of incomplete or partially correct answers or spelling mistakes in answers shall lie at the discretion of the quiz master.
  • In case the qualifying team is not present at the time of announcement of prelims results, privilege shall be given to the next team depending on the score and availability. It is therefore mandatory for the all teams to be present at the specified time and venue for the announcements of prelims results.
  • The details of various rounds and their marking scheme of the mains, shall be announced before the start of the mains.
  • The quiz master shall be the only person responsible and decider of the question that can be placed under this quiz. No one else can claim against the domain of the question asked under this category.
  • The decision of the quiz master shall be final and bounding under all circumstances in all rounds.
  • Carrying reading/writing materials, cell phones, tablets, etc. at the venue of the prelims or mains while attending it shall lead to disqualification of the team.
  • Any attempt of the questions answered by your friends/ your college mates or any other resource person during the mains by shouting the answers out, may lead to losing points/losing that particular question or even to disqualification of the team.

The Business Quiz (B-Quiz) is designed to test the knowledge, awareness, and analytical skills of students in the fields of business, economy, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and current affairs. It encourages participants to think critically, stay updated with the corporate world, and compete in an intellectually stimulating environment.

  • Type of event: Group
  • Team Size: 2-3

  • Each team must consist of 2–3 members.
  • Use of mobile phones, smart watches, or any electronic devices during the quiz is strictly prohibited.
  • Teams must be seated in their allocated places.
  • In case of a tie, tie-breaker questions will be asked.
  • The Quizmaster’s decision will be final and binding.
