ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Competition is open to all the students who are pursuing LL.B. (3years) /LL.B. (5years) Integrated Course /LL.M. or any student from any recognized University or College across the country.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Last Date of Submissions: 7th September, 2019
  • Announcement of Result: 11th September, 2019
The essay must be written in English.

Co-authorship (maximum of two authors) is permitted. However, only one entry is allowed per author.

Essays presenting original thoughts shall be considered for the competition. No part of it should have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for publication or a contest elsewhere. Moreover any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification of the essay. The organizers reserve all the rights related to essay.

No part of the essay, except the cover page, should contain any identification of author. In the cover page the candidate must mention his name, class, affiliating institution, e-mail id and contact number.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
  • The submission shall consist of an abstract, essay and scanned copy of ID card of the institute/ college/ university. An abstract should not be more than 300 words inclusive of title and keywords.
  • The essay should not be more than 3000 words (excluding footnotes and abstract).
  • A uniform pattern of citation must be strictly followed.
  • All essay are to be submitted at [email protected] both word (doc or .docx) and PDF (.Pdf) format with the subject titled as, “TITLE OF ESSAY: NAME OF AUTHOR(S) & COLLEGE”.

    Eligibility
  • The submission is open to all law students registered in Graduate/Post Graduate/Ph.D. Course in any Institution/ College/ University.
  • The students can register themselves as a team of 2 or may also seek single registration.
  • All authors must register separately as delegates for the main event.
  • There is no cap for participation from a single institution.
  • The participant may also be registered for other events of UniversuMM, 2019.
    Format Guideline
  • Language- The language for writing the judgment shall be in ENGLISH only.
  • Word limit– Maximum of 5000 words (including foot notes).
  • Submissions should be made in MS Word format.
  • Main Text– Times New Roman, font size 12, double spacing, justified, with a margin of an inch on all sides.
  • Footnotes– Times New Roman, font size 10. Substantive footnotes are accepted.
  • Citation Mode– Any uniform method of citation is allowed.

    Submission Procedure:
  • A cover page stating the name of the competition, the name of your institution and the names of student author, with the signature of student author.
  • The Judgment shall begin on the next page.
  • Do not state any matter in the judgment (except the cover page) that might reveal your identity or of your institution.
  • All the Judgments must be saved and sent as PDF file. On Email id: jud[email protected] The title of the file must be in the following format MMDU_JWC_ TEAM CODE.
  • All the participants will be given a participation certificate which will be sent to them via Indian Postal Service.

  • The submission is open to all students/scholars registered in Graduate /Post Graduate/Ph.D. Course in any Institution/ College/ University.
  • All the participants are allowed to use maximum 20 slides and minimum 15 slides if they give the Power Point Presentation. They may also give paper presentation.
  • The participants should make their title slide in which the students shall mention his registration code only.
  • The participant must use proper language skills to make the audiences and judges to get them correctly and clearly. Participants are asked to bring their PPT in DVD and pen drives.
