  • Word limit – 5000 words (including foot notes)
  • Format – MSWord
  • Font – Times New Roman
  • Font size- 12 for text, 10 for footnotes. Substantive footnotes are accepted.
  • Page numbers – Bottom center
  • Citation Mode – Any uniform method of citation is allowed.
  • Judgements which exceed the word limit of 5000 words will not be examined.
  • The participants are not supposed to copy paste or simply change the language of the existing judgement.
  • The submission is open to all law students registered in Graduate/Post Graduate/Ph.D. Course in any Institution/ College/ University.
  • The students can register themselves as a team of 2 or may also seek single registration.
  • All authors must register separately as delegates for the main event.
  • There is no cap for participation from a single institution.

  • By submitting an essay, the author undertakes that the essay is an original work and has not been submitted, accepted or published elsewhere.
  • Co-authorship is not allowed.
  • Plagiarism will result in rejection of the submission.
  • Length of the essay must not exceed 1500 words.
  • All submissions must be in English. The content should be written in Times New Roman Font with a size of 12. Line Spacing should be 1.5.
  • The essay should contain endnotes only. All endnotes must be in Times New Roman font, with size 10 and line spacing 1.
  • All submissions must follow a uniform style of citation all through the essay; non- conformity will be a ground for rejection.
  • Submissions must be made in .doc/.docx formats only.
  • Entries not abiding by the above instructions will not be accepted.
