In order to make students aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ' Best out of the waste' competition will be organised as an online event during Universumm.

With the growing increase in wastes in our society from households to industrial wastes, we now require a very innovative approach to get rid of them. Recycling means turning the materials from waste into something new. Glass, paper, plastic, and metals are all commonly recycled items. Recycling and reusing the valuable waste material can result in development of fantastic and usable products. Rather than putting these waste materials into the landfills, various innovative and creative ideas can be put together to being something new and useful. Everyday Wastes such as plastic, glasses, newspapers or electronic are not only waste of limited resources but also are harmful to the environment. This event is to bring such ideas to students and to help them think themselves on such ways of reusing everyday materials that will not only reduce the waste but provide them with useful household products. The idea will not only be of economic and material value for students, but will be helpful in creating environmental consciousness among them that is the need of the hour. The competition named as BEST OUT OF THE WASTE is clearly describing the meaning of Regard before you Discard.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
  • Team shall consist of ONE member only.
  • Participants will be given 1 hour to show their creativity and 2 minutes to talk about the same.
  • As the platform is online, the participant must have a list of items (in written format) used for making the final creation. The same can be asked to share.
  • The required waste material and stationery like scissor, thread, etc. should be arranged by the participants.
  • Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material and scrap from prepared food or any second hand item.
  • No ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted from participant in competition.
  • Participants will be judged on Creativity, Utilization of Resources, Artistic composition & design, Eco-friendly rating, Utility of the Product and Overall Presentation
  • No help from mobile or Internet means would be allowed at the time of Competition.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • Camera should be ON mode during the activity.

This is a contest testing the painting skills in relation to oral health awareness. Knowledge in the field of oral health brings out the best treatment plans from a dentist. This gives one the platform to bring out the best painter and dentist within.

  • Acceptable tools of painting includes pencil, crayons, water color and oil paint.

  • The submission shall consist of beautiful ornamental or usable items made by students along with their photograph and ID card with their name, department name, class, roll number.

The event is based on the theme “Pharmacist : A hope in COVID-19 pandemic” The event should be online. Students have to make A4 size poster. Students should also write an appropriate tagline or slogan on the poster along with the name of the participant, Class/Institution. The poster should be creative, unique and original artwork of the participant and unique. For identification student’s face coverage with all the photographs is compulsory.

This is the digital Era and we the department of physiotherapy are quiet happy to come up with such a wonderful event for the welfare of socialism in this unpredictable situation we should always come up with some unique steps to overcome this pandemic. The current situation looks like it will not going to be a story that is going to end soon, so the purpose of this debate is to learn different aspects of Online Education according to student's perspective.

The fashioning of hair can be considered an aspect of personal grooming, fashion, and cosmetics, although practical, cultural, and popular considerations also influence some hairstyles. The competitors will create a creative hairstyle showing their creative skills.

  • Each competitor must have their own model.
  • The use of color is optional, but must be pre-done and must complement the style.
  • Extensions are allowed but must be done in advance.
  • Hair may be pre-set, but must be brushed back before the start of the competition.
